Parisian funk-filled five piece Holy Oysters are flooding us with good vibes on new single 'Summer Rain'. Taking influences from the 60s and 70s, there is a heavy psychedelic feel to their music with washes of hazy guitars and out of focus keys. However, Holy Oysters haven't replicated the retro sound, they've evolved it entirely adding a slick modern production. Signing to London indie Distiller Records for a new EP and already gathering support on 6 Music and Radio 1, the French fivesome are well on their way to conquering the UK charts, and as long as they don't bring that rain with them, we're fine with that. - SJ
